The Bim Hilder-designed Griffin Memorial Fountain
is located on an island at the corner of
Edinburgh Road and The Sortie Port.
The fountain was built as a result of a
fund-raising appeal made by Castlecrag
Community Centre Committee
and was officially opened on 23 October 1965.
